Giles Edward-N recently brought his production team to darkroom to shoot a promo for M.C. Overalls. Ironically, this was probably one of the largest crews we have hosted, for one of the shorts films! They arrived with mountains of gear and shooting schedule that seemed rather ambitious for the half-day they had booked.
The video follows Katy Ann Howman playing a photographer shooting film on various assignments, before coming to darkroom to process and print her images. Creating a number of different scenarios that show her reviewing negs on the lightbox, setting them up in an enlarger, before processing and developing the prints, DOP Jed Darlington-Roberts camera swooped and swirled to capture the action.
With technical assistance from darkroom’s Phil Grey and a very professional and organised crew, the whole operation was done and dusted bang on time!
